What if career planning didn’t start with, 'What job do you want?' or 'What is your one true passion?' What if it started with, 'You’re going to die one day. Now what matters?'
This workshop uses a surprisingly practical mix of existential philosophy, a positive spin on nihilism, and two powerful poems to help you think clearly about big decisions around work, purpose, priorities and values. It takes a life-affirming, gallows-humour approach to life’s big questions and how they apply to work.
The workshop uses guided reflection exercises, group discussion, structured values clarification, a reading of two poems as lenses for decision-making and a practical life pie chart activity (where does work actually sit?)
Bring your brain and a (slightly) dark sense of humour.
