ACMI's outdoor silent film series
A series of striking silent films will take over Fed Square's outdoor screen once a month until April, with live scores played by local musicians. Head down to meet Sherlock Jr, be mesmerised by Metropolis and pretend to understand Dr Plonk. Each session is completely free to attend, kicking off with The Adventures of Prince Achmed with Phillip Johnston.
Embla rooftop cinema
The details are still a little light on, but slick diner Embla is planning to use their neighbour's rooftop as a make-shift movie theatre in late Jan. Stay tuned to the Embla socials to learn more.
