Playing with Poetry: Make Your Own Writing Game

Play isn’t just for kids: it stimulates the brain and enhances cognitive abilities such as critical thinking, problem solving and creativity - necessary skills for poets.

This three-hour workshop offers exercises that include creating a personal word bank, customising a die and making word cards, and of course, writing poems!

The skills that you will learn in this session can also be applied to short stories and non-fiction.
