From game play to laneways AFL stars scout the city for gems
Where do off-duty footy players hang out in the city? We joined four pros for a wander around some top city spots and quizzed them on their go-to stores and brands.
The city's laneways are a long way from the semi-rural property where Cody Weightman grew up, but the Western Bulldogs player looks at home.
His first stop is Duckboard Place, out the front of Tonka, where the street art splashed across the walls sets off his vibrant outfit and evoke his passion for exploring the world of colour and contrast through his art.
Jumping the queue at iconic gem Soi 38, where down-to-earth Thai street cuisine is served up in rustic fashion inside a concrete carpark at McIlwraith Place, before heading north across the city to explore more art in Tattersalls Lane.
Cody wears P.A.M Store Melbourne and Platypus Shoes.
Darcy Moore takes the team on a wander through some of Melbourne’s most iconic laneways and arcades. Weaving through Degraves Street and Flinders Lane, before stopping for coffee in Block Place and some people watching at Melbourne’s GPO.
Darcy wears Christian Kimber and INCU, boots by Bared Footwear.
AFLW player Darcy Vescio takes a tour of Southbank’s iconic stops. Taking in the a winter’s day view from Princes Bridge, a brisk climb of Hamer Hall steps, before stopping pausing under the Arts Centre spire.

Melbourne Demons forward Kysaiah Pickett cuts a slick look on a wander down Collins Street. On a clear Melbourne day, we start out on the steps the Old Treasury Building, before heading down Colins Street’s luxury Paris end, and stopping for a bite at Farmers Daughter’s.
