Here'll you'll find loads of presents made by social enterprises like Clothing the Gaps and The Social Studio. Once you’ve ticked off your list, head to the ‘pay-what-you-want' wrapping station over the Christmas period. And the best part is the crew will be using repurposed and recycled supplies.

Take the kids to a winter wonderland 

A magical Christmas celebration is coming to District Docklands and everyone’s invited! Get tickets to Santa’s Festival and transport yourself to the North Pole. There’ll be loads of kid-friendly activities like cookie making sessions, craft workshops, hot chocolate stations and Santa photos. Plus every child who attends get a special goodie bag.

Feast at a free community barbecue

Head out on 7 December to meet your neighbours at a free community barbecue. Hosted by the East Melbourne Library, there'll be loads of free fun for the family. Visit pop-up shops for gifts, join a cooking workshop and catch performances by the local choir. There'll also be kids activities and a special visit by the big man in red.

Listen to carols in the park

North and West Melbourne are teaming up to throw a festive Christmas party. Roll out your picnic blanket and enjoy Christmas carols sung by the Australian Girls Choir. Grab a bite from the food trucks and get face painting for the little ones.
