Koorie Krismas

  • Free
  • Family and kids

Koorie Klaus is coming to town and is back to spread festive cheer at the Koorie Heritage Trust’s annual Koorie Krismas - a vibrant, family-friendly celebration. Culture, creativity and joy come together at this free fun-filled day with much to see and do.

On the Fed Square main stage First Peoples talent shines with captivating dance, music, DJ sets, storytelling and film. A curated market features an incredible lineup of First Peoples artists and makers for your Krismas shopping needs. To keep little ones busy, there's a range of free activities including badge-making, wreath-making, upcycling leather and sporting activities.

Don’t miss a special appearance from Koorie Klaus himself. One of his cheerful elves will be on hand with a Polaroid camera for family photos.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
