Summer Sketching with Alissa Duke

  • Talk
  • Workshop

This is a unique opportunity to learn to sketch 'on location' at The Johnston Collection.

On arrival, meet other participants and your tutor, Alissa Duke, over tea or coffee and become familiar with watercolour pencils and how to use them. Then test your new skills as you explore the ground-floor rooms of The Johnston Collection’s historic exhibition house, Fairhall (1860).

Explore the Green Drawing Room, White Room, Blue Room and Kitchen, and select your favourite collection objects and interior features to record in your sketchbook, with guidance from your tutor.

No equipment or previous experience is required – just bring your enthusiasm.
