Improv Comedy Class

  • Free
  • Comedy

Running every Saturday afternoon, these improv comedy trial sessions are hosted by one of The Improv Conspiracy Theatre's most welcoming and enthusiastic teachers – all of whom are experienced performers and comedians in their own right.

You'll be guided through a 'greatest hits' selection of activities and exercises from their 8-week starter course curriculum, proving in just a few hours that improv is for everyone.

No prior acting or comedy experience is required. The teacher will keep it joyful, safe and accessible – even if you're terrified of the notion of public speaking or acting foolish around strangers. Expect heaps of fun in a low-pressure environment, with lots of like-minded people.

Spaces are limited, so pre-bookings are essential.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
