Royal Melbourne Philharmonic presents its ever-popular Carols in the Cathedral – Melbourne’s premier concert of traditional Christmas music, carols and readings, in the stunning setting of St Paul’s Cathedral.

A feast of spectacular fanfares and carols, and glorious Christmas music and verse, performed by massed choirs, majestic brass, organ and orchestra. Hear a magnificent selection of music by composers including Morton Lauridsen, Kim Andre Arnesen, Ola Gjeilo, Donald Fraser, Dan Forrest, and more.

Featuring the angelic voices of The National Boys Choir of Australia, the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra, Melbourne University Choral Society, Box Hill Chorale and special guest soloist, the outstanding Australian soprano Helena Dix, under the baton of conductor Andrew Wailes.

This is a Christmas event not to be missed. Doors open 30-minutes prior to the start of each concert.
