This two-hour outdoor workshop explores the Gardens’ Rose Collection, through the senses and science of nature journaling. Instructor Kathleen Bagot leads a guided, nature-based mindfulness practice among the roses and will assist you to capture what you notice on your page.

All levels of experience are welcome and all supplies for the session are provided, including coloured pencils and watercolour pencils. Please note that this is a roaming workshop and participants will spend time walking and standing on the lawns and garden paths throughout the session.

Kathleen is a certified nature journaling educator. She has studied nature connection and the benefits of spending time in nature for adults and children, earning a PhD in Environmental Psychology, and is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, and mindfulness facilitator.
