Library at The Dock is a modern public library and community hub located on the waterfront at Docklands. The library features dedicated research facilities and exhibition spaces.
The three-storey building offers traditional and digital catalogues, free wi-fi, recording studio, creative editing suites, community meeting spaces, study areas, and multipurpose rooms for hire.
Flexible areas are available for community groups, musicians, and visitors, including a performance venue for over 120 people, a gallery space, and a ventilated green terrace for yoga, tai chi, and movie screenings.
Framed by water on one side and parkland on the other, the library also features a children’s playground, with green spaces to relax and play.
Library at The Dock is Australia’s first 6-star Green Star-rated public building, as awarded by the Green Building Council of Australia.
