La Salonnière: French Club

  • Talk

Step into a little piece of France in the heart of Melbourne at La Salonnière: French Club, a monthly French cultural soirée created by Anne Morel, French Speaking Coach, and Alexandre Charasse, Maître Pâtissier and Maître Chocolatier.

La Salonnière brings together French speakers, Francophones, Francophiles and learners for an evening of French conversation, culture and connection.

Held on the third Thursday of each month, each soirée explores a different theme inspired by French culture, with special activities or entertainment, plenty of opportunities to speak French and a themed menu created for the occasion.

La Salonnière offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests can experience French culture in the heart of Melbourne. Some conversational French is required, but perfect French is not. Tickets include entry and one glass of wine. The themed menu is available to purchase separately.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
