Assassin Academy: Holiday Program

  • Family and kids
  • Workshop

A full-day creative writing program in Carlton focused on secret societies, high-stakes plots and action-driven storytelling.

Welcome to Assassin Academy — a school for the stealthy, the strategic, and ancient leagues of the utmost secrecy. Who wields the dagger in the darkness? Do they work alone, or are unseen powers tugging at the strings of fate?

From torchlit castles to sun-baked cities and hidden strongholds, or even the tangled web of the internet, young writers will explore stories of loyalty, secrecy and moral choice. Characters may be trained in silence and shadows, but the real focus is on plot, tension and the systems that shape power behind the scenes.

No world is quite as safe — or as simple — as it first appears.

For ages 10-14 years.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
