African Music and Cultural Festival

Experience the vibrant heartbeat of Africa at the African Music and Cultural Festival – a three-day celebration of music, culture, food, fashion, art and community.

Begin the festival on Friday with an evening celebration featuring African-Australian films, live music, spoken word, great food and a relaxed festival atmosphere. Then on Saturday, enjoy a full day of entertainment featuring live music, cultural performances, dance, fashion showcases, arts, markets, free drumming workshops for all ages, and delicious African street food. Sunday is the festival finale with more live entertainment, cultural experiences, community activities, food, markets and opportunities to connect with the diverse cultures of Africa.

Join thousands of visitors and help celebrate the richness and diversity of more than 35 African countries through music, art, storytelling and shared experiences. Everyone is welcome.
