A Rocky Road to Success: Storytelling & Fashion

The Rise of Rocky is a one-night immersive experience blending cinema, fashion, runway and live performance into a powerful story of resilience and reinvention. Created by Australian designer Rochelle Gregory, founder of luxury label Rocky Rafaela, the event invites audiences into the emotional journey behind the brand.

The night opens with a cinematic mini film created with ARIA Award–winning director Nick Kozakis, where Rochelle shares her darkest chapters, mental health battles, hospital rooms, addiction, identity, and moments when life felt impossible. Raw and honest, the film is designed to break stigma and spark conversation.

Live music, spoken word, dancers, and cinematic lighting build energy, turning reflection into empowerment. This is not a traditional runway. It’s an immersive, uplifting experience created to leave anyone struggling feeling seen, and inspired.
