Maison Bâtard
Nearly a decade in the making, Maison Bâtard channels the splendour of old-school Melbourne hospitality and the city’s enduring love for timeless Parisian elegance.
Spanning four levels, Maison Bâtard invites guests on a journey of discovery, from the luxurious Restaurant Bâtard with its oyster and caviar bar, to the striking indoor-outdoor rooftop, La Terrasse, designed by celebrated landscape architect, Paul Bangay.
Embracing a uniquely Melbourne interpretation of modern French cuisine, Maison Bâtard’s exceptional culinary offering is the result of close collaboration between Lucas, his long-time collaborator and Culinary Director, Damian Snell, and Executive Chef, Adam Sanderson (The Fat Duck, Noma). The menu eschews the heaviness of classical French fare for lighter, fresher flavours, embracing local influences while paying homage to timeless classics.
