Emilietta

Emilietta is the first tigelleria in Melbourne, serving tigelle – Modenese street food sandwiches made with traditional flatbreads, filled and served warm. Created by the team behind Trattoria Emilia, it brings a focused, regional offering to a fast-casual format. Emilietta delivers a concise, thoughtful expression of Emilia-Romagna’s street food rooted in tradition.

The menu features classics like mortadella with stracchino, traditional lard-pesto, slow-cooked pork with salsa verde, and can't miss parmesan and balsamic. A rotating chef’s special is introduced every two weeks, showcasing seasonal ingredients and regional inspiration. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.

Everything is made in-house, using a mix of Australian produce and select Italian imports.

The shop is take away but a few stools are available for dining in.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
