The Big Melbourne Kilt Run

  • Family and kids
  • Fitness

Join the Melbourne Tartan Festival's Big Melbourne Kilt Run to help raise heart health awareness and fundraise for the Heart Foundation.

Don't worry if you don't have a kilt as anything tartan goes. Wear a tartan scarf, ribbon or clothing, or don some Braveheart style face paint. There will be pipers and Highland dancers and listen out for the bagpipes as you arrive.

The beautiful Kings Domain is the perfect venue on a pleasant Sunday morning as you run, walk or roll The Tan solo or with family, friends or colleagues. The Tan track is suitable for all abilities, from seasoned athletes to weekend joggers or walkers.

This is a fun event for all ages with a message of the importance of a healthy lifestyle and exercise for a healthy heart in support of the work of the Heart Foundation.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
