Summer Salon presents an exhibition of recent purchases for the stockroom and two local heroes.
Gerry Angelos presents a suite of five photographs of abstracted buildings while Jessie Dinan has further images from her rodeo series which gained positive feedback in a previous exhibition.
To complement this exhibition the gallery has 40+ photographs they purchased for the stock room dating from the 1860s to 2024. These include five of members of the Magnum Photo Agency, three founders and Eve Arnold, the first women to be a full member. Melbourne is further represented by John Gollings and Wolfgang Sievers. Two important practitioners from the art world, Anne Noble and Pedro Meyer have a set of three images each, that were made for the exhibition.
