Rooted in the values of opportunity, inclusion, and equality, Small! celebrates creativity in all its forms. Submissions were open to everyone, no matter their age, experience, or background, and every piece entered is included in the exhibition.
Artworks by children, first-time creators, emerging talents, and established professionals are displayed side by side. An endless variety of styles and media is represented, including painting, drawing, sketches, prints, textiles, and small sculptural works. All pieces adhere to a single rule: each must measure no more than 20 x 20 cm.
Each work is priced at $150, irrespective of the artist’s experience or medium. The artworks are presented anonymously to level the playing field, encouraging buyers to choose based solely on personal connection and aesthetic appeal.
Supported by Melbourne Artists' Supplies, Chapman & Bailey, Prism Imaging and Senior Art.
