This event is a marriage of poetry and art with an engaging way of presenting the essence of the ancient Greek practice of ekphrastic poetry.
Acclaimed artist and poet, Sarah Rice, presents both art and poetry and talks about her multidisciplinary creative practice. Her new book, 'Alight on all things precious' weaves together her ekphrastic poetry and luminous colour reproductions of both her own and others’ artwork. The book will be launched by Melbourne poet and playwright Emilie Collyer.
This is a free event but registration is recommended.
