Pacific Community Day

NGV's Pacific Community Day celebrates the creativity and rich diversity of Victoria's Pasifika community with an exciting program of free workshops, talks and children's activities, as well as live music and performances led by international and local artists, community leaders and curators.

A new Art of the Pacific display will also be showcased, bringing together works by artists and designers from Polynesia, Micronesia and Melanesia (including the Torres Strait), spanning diverse periods, places and media.

This celebration has been developed in collaboration with Pacific Island Creative Arts Australia.
