Known for her bold, introspective and emotionally charged practice, Bossinakis has developed a distinctive voice within Australia’s contemporary art landscape. Her work often traverses the psychological terrain of vulnerability, memory and the raw, unsettled states of the human experience.
In this new exhibition, Bossinakis brings forward a collection that speaks to the beauty of imperfection and the sacredness found within emotional fractures. Blessed Brokenness draws from personal experience, ritual and the quiet revelations that emerge through unremarkable and irregular gracefulness as she explores the fragile spaces where pain, resilience and transformation intersect.
The works reflect Bossinakis’ characteristic ability to navigate the delicate intersection between tenderness and intensity. This exhibition invites audiences to sit inside their own complexity and discover the light that leaks through the cracks.
Join for the opening celebration on the 29 November, 2pm to 4pm.
