Journeys to Achievement Narration Series with Zhou Xiaoping

Join for an evening of art, culture, and conversation with acclaimed Chinese Australian artist Zhou Xiaoping.

Part of the Journey to Achievement series, this event celebrates Zhou’s cross-cultural artistic journey — bridging Chinese and Aboriginal Australian traditions through decades of collaboration and creative exchange.

Known for blending Chinese ink painting with Aboriginal art, Zhou has spent over 30 years working with Indigenous communities, creating works that speak of shared heritage and dialogue. His art has been exhibited internationally and featured in the award-winning documentary Ochre and Ink.

Hosted by the Museum of Chinese Australian History in partnership with the Asia–Australia Youth Association, this evening offers a rare chance to hear Zhou reflect on how art connects people, stories, and culture.
