Folded Forest
Enter Folded Forest – an ever-growing installation where you’ll learn the art of origami and fold creatures inspired by the extraordinary animals of Earth’s diverse habitats.
Celebrating the opening of Melbourne Museum’s newest exhibition, Our Wondrous Planet, this hands-on experience invites you to explore the interconnectedness of life on Earth. Create your animal and add your creation to one of three towering paper trees – each one a symbol of biodiversity and the invisible threads that connect us all.
From insects to mammals, fish to birds, your origami creature becomes part of the shared folded forest.
Suitable for all ages, with a range of designs available to suit different skill levels.
