Beirut After Dark

  • Nightlife
  • Entertainment

For one night, Whitehart transforms into Beirut. Antoine and Bechara Taouk of Téta Mona serve their grandmother’s recipes with a twist – golden samboosek with haloumi and feta, shawarma pockets of slow-cooked lamb with mint yoghurt and pickles, and more. Vegetarian and vegan options available.

Tickets include a four-course street food feast from 5pm till 8pm with a welcome Pomegranate Spritz, plus Middle Eastern drink specials flowing all night. After dinner, the party kicks on with Desert Rose performing bellydance and Lebanese drums, and DJs spinning house and Arab mixes till 1am. No seating plans – just shared plates, drinks in hand, and full-on fun.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
