The Australian Museum of Performing Arts (AMPA) is Arts Centre Melbourne’s newest venue.

Unveiling treasured objects from circus, dance, music, opera, theatre and popular entertainment, AMPA brings untold stories of the stage to life through major exhibitions. AMPA will showcase highlights from Australia’s extraordinary performing arts history, found in the Australian Performing Arts Collection, and the very best from international museums and galleries.
