With its iconic spire, Arts Centre Melbourne is both an architectural and cultural landmark in Melbourne. It is the flagship of the performing arts in the state of Victoria and the focal point of the cultural precinct in Melbourne.

Housing an array of venues, Arts Centre Melbourne is Australia's largest and busiest performing arts venue, staging more than 4,400 performances and public events each year.

Showcasing the best of Australian and international performing arts for over 30 years, Arts Centre Melbourne is host and partner to national and state companies such as Opera Australia, the Australian Ballet, Melbourne Theatre Company, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Victorian Opera, Sydney Dance Company and Bangarra Dance Theatre.

A visit to Arts Centre Melbourne doesn't stop at the stage; the Australian Performing Arts Collection, the Australian Music Vault, daily guided tours, Sunday backstage tours, and a Sunday crafts market are also open to visitors.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong Boon Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.

We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection the Wurundjeri, Bunurong, Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wadawurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin have to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We are committed to our reconciliation journey, because at its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples, for the benefit of all Victorians.
