Taxi Kitchen
Taxi Kitchen is on the first level of Federation Square's Transport Hotel offering a relaxed dining environment with panoramic views of Melbourne's iconic landmarks.
They're all about contemporary Australian cuisine with a hint of Asian influence served in an expansive, light-filled space in the central city.
The food is accessible and affordable, yet rustic and plentiful with an emphasis on share plates, smaller dishes for snacks and pre-theatre meals. The menu changes, but it can include such delights as slow-cooked shoulder of lamb, spicy salt-and-pepper quail and sesame-scorched oysters.
