State of Grace

  • Rooftop bar
  • Bar

State of Grace cocktail bar and restaurant features marble, mirrors and chandeliers in both the street level restaurant, and in Fall From Grace, the basement bar.

The menu combines European bistro dishes and share plates of modern Australian food. Examples include Aylesbury duck breast with crispy duck leg; gnocchi with sage and black garlic purée; and scallops with apple, black pudding and candied bacon. Lighter bites include freshly shucked oysters, prawn and prosciutto croquettes, and chicken liver pâté with orange curd and brioche.

To drink, there's both classic and signature cocktails – try the salted caramel espresso martini.

Or discover the heavenly world above, on State of Grace Rooftop. Settle in and soak up the views overlooking the city. The vibe is casual – think pizzas and share plates, cured meat boards, haloumi, parmesan fries. Match with deliciously summery cocktails, tap beers and tinnies. The perfect spot for a very Melbourne experience.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
