Grill Americano is a Northern Italian-inspired steakhouse offering a menu where steak and seafood reign supreme, complemented by handmade pastas, slow-cooked braises, nostalgic classics and exquisite desserts.
Located at the base of the iconic 101 Collins Street building, guests enter a breathtaking space, where high ceilings, a commanding 14-metre marble bar, open kitchen and elevated Venetian inspired furniture are evocative of the opulent brasseries and premium dining rooms of Italy, London and New York.
The menu is grand and designed to share, celebrating three types of traditional Italian cooking: charcoal, woodfired and steam, overlaid by a very European flavour profile featuring citrus, olive oil and herbs. A handmade, custom-built woodfire oven from Naples and Josper Grill sit at the heart of the kitchen, with the team working alongside Australia’s finest producers and growers, as well as select Italian artisans.
