Fern's Alfresco

  • Bar
  • Restaurant

Fern’s Alfresco, an Italian-inspired garden hidden two levels up from Little Collins St. Striped umbrellas, olive trees, fountain, festoon lights and Italo disco set the scene for long lunches that slide into spritzes.

Order a spritz and share cicchetti, then move on to chargrilled octopus, oysters, pizza, pasta and gelato. Cocktails arrive on L’Albero, the cocktail tree, serving four spritzes or margaritas at once.

In partnership with That’s Amore Cheese, the Thomastown cheesemaker, handmade cheeses star across the menu, from baby burrata to the mozzarella on every pizza. Every drink order comes with a decorative gold coin to toss into the fountain for Il Desiderio, the wish.

Walk-ins are welcome, booking encouraged.
