Delmonte

  • Bar
  • Restaurant

Delmonte is a neighbourhood Italian wine room and restaurant in the heart of Carlton, built for every occasion.

Occupying the historic corner of Lygon and Faraday Streets, Delmonte marks the next chapter in the evolution of the King & Godfree building – a site that has been at the centre of Carlton’s hospitality and cultural life for more than 150 years.

Rather than replacing that history, the venue builds upon it, honouring its legacy while creating a contemporary destination for food, wine and Italian hospitality.

Designed around the pleasure of eating and drinking at any pace, Delmonte moves effortlessly between occasions – from an aperitivo at the bar or a casual midweek meal to celebrations and evenings that unfold over another bottle of wine. It is a venue designed to feel equally appropriate, whatever the reason for visiting.
