Bar Bouni

  • Restaurant
  • Casual dining

Bar Bouni brings bold, modern Lebo-terranean fusion to Southbank’s Arts Precinct – a vibrant mash-up of Lebanese and Mediterranean flavours with a distinctly Melbourne attitude.

Not strictly traditional, but deeply flavour-driven, Bar Bouni's dishes are designed to be shared, passed, dipped and piled high.

At the heart of the kitchen, the rotisserie turns out slow-cooked chicken and pork with crispy edges, juicy centres and serious depth of flavour. They’re served with house-made sauces like punchy green zhoug, smoky muhammara and creamy tarator.

The rest of the menu is built for the table: generous plates, bright salads and bold bites bringing texture, colour and contrast. Expect fresh herbs, warm spice, pickled crunch and just enough heat to keep things interesting.

Elevated but never stuffy, Bar Bouni is made for pre-theatre dinners, long lunches, spontaneous catch-ups and big, loud tables – warm, energetic and unapologetically generous.
