Emporium Melbourne will be open from 9am to 6pm on Christmas Eve. All your fave stores have extended trading hours until 9pm every day from 12 December up to 23 December. After you grab cute gifts from Marimekko and Ganni, stop by the Thai Social for a delicious authentic Pad Thai or popular Mookata hotpot. Save time by getting your pressies wrapped at the Bespoke Letterpress pop-up on Level 1.

Queen Victoria Market

What’s Christmas without a tonne of gorgeous fresh seasonal food? The market is open regular hours in the lead up to Christmas. On Christmas Eve the produce stalls open an hour early from 5am. Get in quick to stock up on seafood and veggies, the market is open until 3pm or when the vendors are sold out.

Melbourne Central

Melbourne Central will be open until 9pm from 14 December every day up to 23 December. On Christmas Eve the stores will be open from 9am to 6pm for last-minute shopping. Nerd out at the LEGO store, go to the basement for Korean boutiques and Sanrio merch, then stock up on sheet masks at MINISO and Sephora. Celebrate ticking off your list with a cocktail at Byrdi then snap a pic of the new art installation.

Melbourne's GPO

Melbourne's GPO is open until 7pm this Christmas Eve. That leaves plenty of time to pick up something for every member of the family at H&M. Then head to the neighbouring shopping spot The Strand. Visit Dinosaur Designs then swing by ACNE Studios to find your Christmas fit. Refuel to shop some more with a coffee break at Federal Coffee. Or break for dinner with Thai BBQ in a colourful laneway at Khaosan Lane.

QV Melbourne

Shops at QV Melbourne will stay open until 9pm from the 20 to 23 December, and 7pm on Christmas Eve. Hot tip? Queen Victoria Women’s Centre SHOP! is our go-to for feminist stocking stuffers and gifts from local makers. Shop for your most stylish friends at Incu, where you'll find cocktail glasses from Maison Balzac, fluffy bathrobes and chic handbags. If those shopping bags are getting heavy, take a break and indulge at Thai Town.

Still got some gifts to buy? Myer's Bourke Street Mall location will be open until 10pm from 12 to 19 December and 11pm from 26 to 23 December. Myer will close at 6pm on Christmas Eve. Pick up nourishing skincare and luxe makeup at the Mecca stall. Grab a new 'fit for Christmas Day. And be sure to stop by the magical Myer Windows on your way out.
