The 2023 World’s Longest Lunch sees Alla Wolf-Tasker AM take the reins at this flagship event, presented by La Trobe Financial.
A true legend of the Australian culinary landscape, Alla is the founder of Lake House, the Daylesford restaurant, hotel and spa at that has been setting the standard for luxury dining and accommodation in Australia for more than 40 years.
More than three decades on from its humble beginnings on the turf at the MCG in 1993, meanwhile, the World’s Longest Lunch now kicks off the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival each year with food from a celebrated chef served across more than 600 metres of table winding through Melbourne’s superb Treasury Gardens.
Drawing on nearly four decades of experience at Lake House, as well as the newer additions of Dairy Flat Lodge and Farm, and Wombat Hill House, Alla is designing a menu that celebrates harvest-season bounty.
