Worker's Museum and Paddy's Gallery at Trades Hall

Victoria’s Trades Hall, rising grandly from the northern edge of the city, is a national treasure and a symbol of the aspirations of the Australian people. For over 150 years the Trades Hall building has given form to dreams of a better life for working people and their families.

The Workers Museum showcases artefacts from working people’s campaigns through history. Paddy's Gallery has artwork from across the movement. Rub shoulders with activists and union delegates in the world's oldest operating workers' hall.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
