Women of the Ice

As part of RMIT Galleries' exhibition 'Creative Antarctica: Australian Artists and Writers in the Far South', hear from Melissa DeLaney, Dr Polly Stanton, Dr Adele Jackson, Tishiko King and Dr Kirsten Haydon as they offer personal experiences and reflections from the front lines of a changing climate.

Historically male-dominated, visitors to Antarctica increasingly reflect gender and cultural diversity. Approximately half of the artists and writers who have visited through the Australian Antarctic Arts Fellowship program have been women.
