Vaisakhi: Celebrating Khalsa Sajna Divas

Celebrate Vaisakhi in Melbourne with the Victorian Sikh Gurdwaras Council (VSGC). This free cultural festival marks the birth of the Khalsa and showcases the rich traditions, music and community values of Sikh culture.

Enjoy soulful Kirtan performances by Gurmat Sangeet academies, and experience Langar, the Sikh tradition of serving free vegetarian meals to all, symbolising equality, service and unity. Visitors can also take part in the popular turban‑tying activity, making this a welcoming and family‑friendly event for all ages.

Set in one of Melbourne’s most iconic inner‑city parks, the Vaisakhi celebration offers a vibrant day of culture, divine music, food and community spirit open to everyone.
