Touch and Go!

  • Family and kids
  • Theatre

Touch & Go is a dancing game created by Sally Chance Dance especially for children aged two and three years. Featuring dance-theatre and minimal verbal language, Touch & Go creates a playful environment shaped by two friendly dancers and a live guitarist, several rolls of masking tape, and lots of imagination.

The children and their adults are invited to enter this cheerful world of pathways, stepping-stones and lines. The children become part of the performance themselves or observe from a safe distance, touching and going - just as they need to.

Having enjoyed a run at ArtPlay in 2016, Touch & Go now returns a decade later to engage and entertain a new generation of children. Come and join the fun.

Touch and Go was supported by the Australian Government’s Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund, Creative Australia, Create SA, City of Melbourne and Insite Arts.

Ages: 2 to 3 years.
