Tactility is central to the creation and enjoyment of Joe’s sculptures, offering a hands-on experience for Deafblind audiences especially. Challenging visual dominance in the art world, Joe invites broader audiences to also engage via touch and experience sculpture from a Deafblind perspective.
Often underestimated due to his disability, Joe proudly demonstrates his artistic skill, showing that Deafblind people are capable of anything.
Supported by the City of Melbourne Arts Grants.
