Strum and Sing

  • Free
  • Music

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or have never held a uke in your life, come along for a night of good vibes and great company. This isn't just a practice session; it’s a social hub for music lovers to swap tips, admire each other’s gear, and learn something new.

Expect a welcoming crowd with themed sessions. Join around 30 friendly ukers in a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere with a different musical theme each week. No Uke? No Problem. Spare ukuleles are available if you’re just starting out or coming straight from work.

The bar is open for drinks, and you’re welcome to bring in takeaway from local gems like Laksa King, Pho House, or La Tortilleria.

Note: The venue is located on the second floor and is only accessible via stairs (no lift).

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
