Storytime Ballet: The Nutcracker

  • Family and kids
  • Theatre

With an enchanting score and charming story, this beloved ballet transports audiences into the traditional festive fairytale.

On Christmas Eve Clara receives a nutcracker doll who magically comes to life. Together they battle the Rat King and visit the Land of Sweets for a grand celebration with the Sugar Plum Fairy before Clara wakes up at the foot of the Christmas tree – but was it really all a dream?

Presented by The Australian Ballet this is the perfect introduction to ballet. Storytime Ballet: The Nutcracker is led by an engaging narrator and runs for under an hour to keep your little ones captivated. Dressing-up in your favourite ballet-inspired outfit and dancing in your seat are warmly encouraged.

Please note that flashing wands and smoke/ haze will be used during this performance.
