Stand Up Together: For a Future Free from Family Violence

  • Comedy
  • Entertainment

Join some of Australia’s favourite comedians for a night of big laughs and an even bigger purpose.

Hosted by Bron Lewis, Stand Up Together brings Celia Pacquola, Claire Hooper, Rhys Nicholson, Ivan Aristeguieta, Anisa Nandaula, Dave Thornton, Scout Boxall, Denise Scott and Joel Creasey to Melbourne Town Hall for a special one-night-only comedy fundraiser.

Presented by Emerge Women & Children’s Support Network, the event will raise vital funds to support women and children impacted by family violence. Emerge provides safe refuge, specialist support, therapeutic services and early intervention that help families find safety, recover and rebuild their lives.

Taking place on International Human Rights Day and the final day of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, Stand Up Together is an opportunity to come together through comedy and support a future free from family violence.

Big laughs. Meaningful impact. One night to stand together.

Supported by City of Melbourne.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
