The 10-storey Design Hub is a striking addition to Melbourne's architectural landscape, with an exterior of thousands of sandblasted glass disks, some of which can be tilted to provide shade from the sun as it moves throughout the day.
The building is home to RMIT University's School of Architecture and Design, the RMIT Design Archive and the RMIT Design Hub Gallery.
On level 2, the Design Hub Gallery exists to ask questions about design’s role in the world today. Through exhibitions, conversations, performances and publications, the gallery explores the process of design – making space to imagine, test and risk new ideas.
