Pillars of Light Festival

The Pillars of Light is a pluralistic and inclusive Channukah celebration bringing together people from across Melbourne in a spirit of joy, unity and community.

Now in its seventh year at Fed Square, the event celebrates light, hope, resilience and connection through music, performance and shared experience. People of all backgrounds, cultures and faiths are invited to come together and experience the festive spirit of Channukah in the heart of the city.

Pillars of Light reflects the universal values of bringing light into darkness, strengthening community and creating a sense of belonging, while celebrating Melbourne’s diverse and multicultural identity.

Each evening, the Menorah lighting will illuminate Fed Square, symbolising hope, unity and the power of light to bring people together.
