National Simultaneous Storytime

Join in on the fun of National Simultaneous Storytime. When the clock strikes 12pm on 27 May 2026, the same book will be read at the same time to over 2 million children across schools, libraries, early learning centres and homes all around the country.

This year's book is Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake Minton.

Expect a session full of books, songs and rhymes in this joyful celebration of reading, literacy and community as children across Australia share the same story at the same time.

Perfect for children aged 3-8 years old. Please note: a parent or carer must attend this event for the entire duration with their child/children.
