Mimpi

  • Music
  • Exhibition

Mimpi (meaning ‘dream’ in Indonesian) unfolds in a world in which creatures of the mind take slippery forms.

In this, their first collaboration, musical trio Lung Swara and acclaimed dancer Rianto developed a collective practice of dream sharing, meeting in the realms of the subconscious to explore the undercurrents of fear and desire that flow through our collective psyche.

The result is as ferocious and raw as it is hushed and resonant, blending expansive improvisational forms with ceremonial movement.

Grounded in tradition yet startling in its originality, Mimpi invites audiences into an intimate encounter with artists who push beyond the boundaries of their disciplines, creating a space that feels both deeply rooted and utterly new.
