Home is Football: Belonging in Australian Soccer delves into how the much-loved universal sport is a source of community for Australians from a broad range of groups and identities.

Discover the stories of nine footballers to find out what turned them into the players they are today. Take to the bench where you can watch football experiences play out on the pitch-turf video wall. Explore football today and how it has evolved. Uncover layers of belonging in Australia's football communities – you don't have to be a pro to be part of it.

For as long as the game has been played, football has brought people together. Look beyond the field and into the heart of some of Australia’s football communities.

Home is Football: Belonging in Australian Soccer has been produced with support from our co-creators Melbourne Victory Football Club and Professional Footballers Australia.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
