Government House Community Tour

Take a guided tour through the State Apartments to learn about the history of Government House and its contemporary role.

The tours are led by a senior member of the Government House staff and provide a unique insight into the constitutional, ceremonial, international and community engagement duties of the Governor.

Built between 1872 and 1876, Government House is one of the finest examples of 19th-century residential architecture.
